The Land of Smiles® is an interactive program that engages and educates students in kindergarten through third grade by demonstrating proper brushing and flossing techniques, discussing good and bad foods for teeth and reinforcing the importance of visiting the dentist regularly. This free program is a favorite for kids and teachers alike.

 

Along with the educational program, Delta Dental provides each school with supplemental curriculum to be used by the teachers for continued classroom education. In addition, we provide free “smile bags” to students who participate in the program. Each bag includes a toothbrush, toothpaste, and dental floss to help students practice the good oral health habits they learn.
